I love looking back over the past year, and one of my favorite ways to look back is looking at what all of YOU were cooking and baking from TheFreshCooky.com. Some of the top recipes are the same from 2020, but have swapped places, but several have been a fun surprise, rising to the top!
But the bottom line for me — is the thankfulness I feel for each and every one of you, who have made this journey possible. This job I am privileged and honored to do, brings me so much joy, especially when I hear how much you loved a recipe. How it not only fed your friends and family, but hopefully how it fed your soul and helped you build community.
Inviting people to the table is a beautiful and dare I say, a holy calling — I want to show you that your house can be messy, your presentation imperfect; but your arms can be wide open, a welcoming smile on your face, a word of encouragement on your lips, we need one another.
If my recipes play a minuscule part in bringing people together, opening hearts and homes — well, I cannot tell you how much joy that brings me! It is a joy to serve you week after week!
I am already working on a phenomenal and tasty 2022, so keep coming back! And remember, I love hearing from each of you! Pop down to the comments and tell me what kind of recipes you want, this gives me great direction.
