Ingredients for Whipped Sugar Scrub Soap Recipe

  • ALL NATURAL CANE ORGANIC SUGAR | You can certainly use white sugar here, your foaming bath butter will be smoother. You can even use brown sugar but your end product will be darker. I like working with organic cane sugar, the sugar acts as the primary exfoliate.
  • ORGANIC COCONUT OIL | benefits for skin, including reducing inflammation, keeping skin moisturized and helping heal wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil also possess antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne and protect the skin from harmful bacteria.” This is the whipped soap base.
  • JOJOBA OIL |Jojoba oil contains oodles of vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties, but what sets it apart from the others is that it’s technically not an oil, but a wax ester. What does this mean for your skin? “Jojoba oil has a similar molecular structure and composition to sebum, which the skin naturally produces for moisturization
  • FREEZE DRIED STRAWBERRIES | Freeze dried strawberries are available most grocery stores, near dried fruits. I like Trader Joe’s. High in Vitamin C, and acidic to help exfoliation as well as lighten dark spots on your face and body.
  • STRAWBERRY ESSENTIAL OIL | Or other essential oils, this is delicious with strawberry and very spring and summer like. You could also try adding a few drops of lavender or chamomile for a relaxing DIY Sugar Scrub. You may certainly change it up and use your favorite essential oils.
