🍀 Welcome to this week’s edition of Fresh Fridays! 🍀
As we gear up for spring with daylight savings time this Sunday, it’s the perfect opportunity to embrace the changing seasons with delicious new recipes. This week, I’m thrilled to introduce three mouthwatering creations that will become instant favorites in your kitchen.
But first, remember to set your clocks forward on Saturday night for daylight savings time! (Ugh, I wouldn’t say I like spring forward, though I love the longer days – I wish they would pick a time and stick with it).
And we look forward to our boys coming home from college over the next two weeks for spring break.
Along with new recipes, I’m highlighting TFC’s Top Saved Recipes, my favorite finds, deals, and a glimpse into my life. Let’s dive in!
Use the Table of Contents below to discover what interests you most.
What’s New? Three must-make recipes
#1 Hamburger Helper Lasagna
You will LOVE how easy this recipe is, without any yucky box ingredients! Our family gave it rave reviews as did my testing family!! An easy ground beef dinner!
Did you know? You can Scale Recipes?
You can scale any recipe up or down by clicking on the serving (right below the PREP time) on the recipe cards and sliding to scale the recipe up or down to fit your needs!
#2 Sous Vide Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce
Let the sous vide take the guess work out of cooking salmon to perfection! I’m telling you this is perfect every single time! And that lemon dill sauce! WOWZERS!
Be sure to try my Raspberry Glazed Salmon (a super simple recipe).
#3 Baileys Irish Cream Ice Cream
Oh friends, I am not a chocolate ice cream lover, except for this homemade chocolate ice cream—drool-worthy! I took my basic chocolate ice cream (no eggs) and kicked it up a notch by adding Bailey’s Irish Cream!
We loved it, and our testers were wowed by it; you will too! A great treat for St. Patrick’s Day, it’s a winner during the holidays, too!
And it’s been saved and shared over 10,000 times!! The chocolate ice cream that is, the Baileys is brand new — hopefully it will catch on fire too!

A week in my life…
It’s been another roller-coaster weather week—from the high 70s over the weekend, and today it’s supposed to snow! I am not ready to say goodbye to snow quite yet! But I am sorry for those of you who are and are still getting hammered!
A close friend has been in town for the past few weeks, and we’ve walked quite a few days, which has really brought me joy. We had her over for dinner one night, too!
We went to our house church Book Club last night, and it was SO good (I regularly test out my recipes on them; they are great for honest feedback!). I was very challenged, inspired, thought provoked by this small and super simple book — What If Jesus Was Serious? Based on the Sermon on the Mount, I highly recommend it!
I LOVE MY READERS!! This week I heard from Jeannine, she received a copy of my free Top 10 Recipes e-book and was letting me know she received it. I asked her permission to share this quote from her — SHE MADE MY MONTH!
Tho I’m 86 I still love to cook and try new recipes always…adventures of any kind should never be abandoned is my theory. Looking forward to many more recipes and adventures in life.
Jeannine
Nuff said, it doesn’t get any better than that! It’s why I do what I do!!!

Fun Fact About Me
I have a glassware and jar obsession! Ask many of my close friends, and they would agree!! Long before I started blogging, I would save fun jars and vases and pick up unique glasses. I literally have one full cupboard of just JARS! In my defense, I always use them and give them away with dressings, soups, and sourdough starters.
Take me to a housewares store, and you will undoubtedly find me scouring the glassware section!

Weekly Inspiration | 25 Calming Prayers
Our world is becoming more and more anxiety-driven; fears abound, and anxiety is at an all-time high. Even those of us who don’t battle panic attacks can still experience times of anxiety. So, instead of reaching for your phone and social media, try writing down a few of these prayers and repeating them as you drift off to sleep.
Here’s one I loved.
A Prayer for Confronting Fear
Heavenly Father,
When I feel crushed by my own worries,
Lift my mind and help me to see the truth.
When fear grips me tight and I feel I cannot move,
Free my heart and help me to take things one step at a time.
When I can’t express the turmoil inside,
Calm me with Your quiet words of love.
I choose to trust in You, each day, each hour, each moment of my life.
I know deep down that I in Your grace, forgiven, restored by Your sacrifice, You have set me free.
Amen.
