At The Fresh Cooky, we believe that the best memories are made around the table, where family and friends gather to share stories, laughter, and the simple joy of being together. This isn’t about competition but creating a warm, welcoming community of home cooks and bakers.
We’re excited to kick off our September challenge with our easy, no-rise pizza dough recipe. I hope you’ll join in the fun and make some delicious memories with us!
How it Works
The concept is super simple: Each month, I choose a recipe. You make it and leave a comment on the recipe’s blog post. At the end of the month, I randomly select one winner to receive the prize.
BONUS ENTRIES:
- Snap a photograph* of your recipe using your phone or camera and email it to CookingClub@thefreshcooky.com with September Cooking Club in the subject line. *just of the food, no people, pretty, please!
- Post your photo on Instagram and/or Facebook for another bonus entry, tagging @thefreshcooky and #TheFreshCookyCookingClub. Sometimes, with the algorithm, I miss those, so when you email me, let me know you shared the photo on social, so I can go and look for it!
The Prize: A $100 Amazon Gift Card!
At the end of the month, I’ll randomly select a winner and share some of your photos. This month, we’re giving away a $100 Amazon gift card.
September’s Recipe: No Rise Pizza Dough
We’re making my no rise (no fail) pizza dough – Here are a few reasons I love it:
- Quick and Easy: No rise time means you can have pizza on the table in 30 minutes. Plus, the dough freezes great, so you can make extra for another night!
- Perfect for Beginners: This is a great starter recipe if you’ve never worked with yeast. Simple ingredients and easy steps make it foolproof, whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting out.
- Customizable: Tweak the dough to suit your family’s tastes—gluten-free, mix in herbs, use infused oil, or your favorite crust style. Make it yours!
- Family Fun: This recipe makes two large pizzas, perfect for feeding a crowd or freezing one for later. Get the kids involved for a fun, interactive pizza night!
What’s your TWIST? Here are a few ideas:
- You can use the pizza dough to make breadsticks, calzones, stromboli, pizza, garlic knots, pull-apart pizza, thin crust, or thick crust—be creative!
- Make it gluten-free: If GF is your thing, use a quality GF All-Purpose Flour. You may need to add a touch more liquid; you don’t want the dough to be super sticky or dry.
- Show off! Be sure to email me a picture for a bonus entry!
The deadline to enter the September Challenge is 11:59 pm MDT on September 30th, 2024.
