An easy weeknight dinner or delicious appetizer! A pizza sliders recipe that is easy to customize for the entire family and ready in about 30-40 minutes. Great for game day, holiday parties and more.
Preheat the oven to 350° F (175° C) and lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish or place a piece of parchment on a baking sheet.
Slice Hawaiian rolls in half, making sure the bottom half is slightly thicker than the top half, do not pull apart. Put the bottom half of the buns in the baking dish and spread the pizza sauce evenly over them.
Add half the shredded mozzarella cheese, and then place the pepperoni in an even layer over the top of the cheese. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
Add the other half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup of the Parmesan cheese and place the top half of the buns on top.
Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter until well combined. Pour the butter glaze all over the tops of the buns, and spread with a pastry brush if needed to cover them with the sauce fully. Sprinkle the red pepper flakes on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until hot throughout and the cheese is melted, remove foil and sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese on top and bake for 5-10 minutes until toasted on top.
Garnish with additional red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and fresh basil if desired.

Storage Tips
Refrigerating: Store cooled leftover sliders in an airtight container. Then, keep in the refrigerator for 3-5 days and reheat before serving again.
Freezer: You can freeze the sliders before or after baking! After assembling the sliders, cover them tightly with plastic wrap, then aluminum foil, and freeze for up to three months.
PreBaked Frozen Pizza Sliders: Allow them to cool, and place them in an airtight container to freeze for up to 6 months. When baking, write a note on the foil to remove the plastic wrap first!
To bake from frozen: remove any plastic wrap and replace the foil, place in a preheated oven, baking for 20 minutes, remove the foil, and bake an additional 10-20 minutes until heated through. How to Reheat Frozen Sliders : Allow to thaw in the fridge overnight, then bake with foil for about 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for a few more minutes until heated through.
Can I keep sliders warm in a crock pot? Yes! Allow the sliders to cool for about 10 minutes, then wrap each slider individually in aluminum foil, place in a crockpot, lay some paper towels or a clean tea towel between the lid and the crock (this catches any condensation), and place the lid on, turn the slow cooker on warm. Grab and go, goodness!
Air Fryer Reheating Instructions: Reheating your sliders in the air fryer is a great and quick idea! I usually put them at 350° F (175° C) for about 5 minutes, covering them with a little foil if they brown too quickly.
Topping Suggestions
Meat Lovers Pizza Sliders: In addition to pepperoni, add cooked Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, ground beef, or your favorite protein.
Swap the Sauce! Use Alfredo sauce, pesto, or your favorite sauce instead of the pizza sauce.
Veggie Lovers: Try sweet or red onions, bell peppers, black olives, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, spinach, and more. Make sure to slice your vegetables thin so they cook in the oven.
Hawaiian Pizza Sliders: Layer Canadian bacon and pineapple bits on yoru sliders, be really authentic and sprinkle with some slivered or sliced almonds.
Margarita Pizza Sliders: Use fresh sliced tomatoes (thin), wheels of fresh mozzarella and some fresh basil.
Barbecue Chicken Pizza Sliders: Replace the marinara with barbecue sauce and add cooked, diced, or shredded chicken along with your favorite cheese.
White Pizza Sliders: No red sauce! Instead, brush rolls with olive oil, garlic and a little salt. Top with thin slices of fresh mozzarella, place a small dollop of ricotta cheese and top with Italian seasoning.
