Strawberry Shortcake

You are going to fall in love with this Old-Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake recipe. A cross between a cake and a cookie; buttery, rich, nutty; this will become your new favorite homemade shortcake recipe.


- Flour - Sugar - Nutmeg - Butter - Egg - Strawberries - Whipped Cream

Add sugar to flour mixture.  Cut in the butter with a pastry blender.

Beat together egg & milk. Gently add flour mixture until blended.

Spread the batter into pan and bake for 15 minutes.  Prepare the strawberry shortcakes and devour!

Make ahead and chill in the fridge for  7 days or  3 months in the freezer.
