Here are several of my favorite fall recipes that don’t really land in a specific category, oh sure two of them are drinks, but vastly different from one another and then I’m throwing granola at you. But for some reason these drinks and foods just speak autumn to me. I think it must be the cinnamon, clove and other “earthy” spices that they all incorporate.
I hope you enjoy them as well and will put them into your recipe box.
We’ll start with this beautifully, rich, exotic spicy and warm drink. Sip it slowly while sitting by the fire on a chilly autumn morning, or enjoy in the early afternoon with a crunchy biscotti.
Next you can enjoy this chewy homemade soft granola, one basic recipe with many variations according to your taste. Eat it plain with milk or over yogurt or as a beautiful yogurt parfait as shown below.
And to finish off your day, snuggle up next to the fire with this festive cocktail. Shake up this delightfully simple all-natural cocktail and enjoy around a fire pit with a cozy blanket wrapped around you. Just a suggestion mind you, you can enjoy this anywhere.
That’s it, check out all three recipes, vastly different and yet all using similar earthy spices that kind of ties them all together.
